FIRST RIDE
CREATE AN ACCOUNT
To ride with us, we’ll want to make sure we have all of your contact information. You can quickly create an account then buy your desired package online, or at reception.
PREP FOR YOUR RIDE
Please stay hydrated before, during, and after class! We offer a filtered water station in the studio if you need to fill up, as well as a variety of waters for purchase. Wear comfortable clothes designed for exercise. Our classes do have choreography that has you moving up and down, so fitted workout attire is best.
LOCKER ROOMS
THE RIDE offers user-friendly lockers with digital locks, located in the lobby and in both locker rooms. The locker rooms also have comfortable changing areas, bathrooms, showers with fresh towel service, and premium amenities to take you from sweaty to street-ready.
SHOES
We clip in at THE RIDE! Clipping in provides greater stability and better overall performance. For your first ride, complimentary shoes are provided; they’re $2 per ride for rental thereafter, or available in the studio for purchase. Of course, you’re always welcome to bring your own cycling shoes. We recommend Look Delta clips, but our pedals are also SPD compatible.
ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
For your first ride with us, we recommend arriving at least fifteen minutes before class. When you arrive at the studio, check in with our friendly front desk staff. You’ll need to sign a quick waiver, then you’ll be given a tour of the studio, and be assisted setting up on your bike. For subsequent rides, please note that if you have not arrived and signed in by class time, your bike may be released. If you are running late please just give the studio a call.
READY TO RIDE
Our schedule goes live 7 days in advance, and you may reserve your bikes for the coming week. Of course, you may reserve a bike at any time after that, up to 15 minutes prior to start time, based on availability. After that, we ask that you call the studio directly to ensure there is still space available. To book a bike, you must have paid rides in your account. The booking process will include choosing where in THE RIDE Theater you would like your bike to be positioned. There are three rows of bikes arranged facing forward, and we encourage all riders to choose a location most comfortable for them: whether for a first-time rider starting in the back of the class where bikes have the most space, or for a more advanced rider in the front row which may be the most intense workout. Remember, it’s your RIDE!
RIDE RULES
Rules are made to be broken…except for these:
RESPECT YOUR RIDE:
No cell phones in THE RIDE Theater. They disturb others and take away from your own experience.
Unplugging can be very therapeutic: BE PRESENT.
RESPECT YOUR TIME:
Please be on time. To preserve the experience for other riders, we do not allow anyone to enter a class later than five minutes after the class has started. If you need to leave class early, please tell the instructor ahead of time, and wait until the last song, signaling to them on your way out that you’re okay and not injured.
